Management Accountant

Rotheram Carrington Recruitment Group are pleased to be supporting a growing SME manufacturing business based Deeside, who are looking to recruit an experienced Management Accountant to join their small finance team. This role would be perfect for someone who is AAT Qualified or Qualified by Experience, or Part-Qualified.

This role is reporting to the Finance & Operations Director and would be responsible for the following duties:

• All aspects of the month-end process including accruals, prepayments, balance sheet and variance analysis
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Maintain the fixed asset register
• Analysis and review performance to help with decision making
• Control account reconciliations
• Weekly KPI reporting
• Site stock take processing
• Produce and distribute weekly production variance reports
• Prepare VAT returns
• Continuous process improvement around systems and processes
• Ad hoc financial reporting and analysis for the business to enable better business decisions

Experience/Skills

• AAT/Part-Qualified or Qualified by Experience
• Proven experience in a management accounting role
• Strong communication skills
• Sage 200 experience advantageous
• Advanced Excel and analytical skills
• Team player as small but busy team

What's On Offer

• £30,000 to £43,000 per annum
