Management Accountant

Management Accountant | Wirral | £50,000 - £60,000

An opportunity to join a large, well respected Manufacturing business on the Wirral. This is an opportunity to join a fast paced business with an excellent leadership team, providing a supportive environment.

Reporting into the Financial Controller you will have a broad range of duties including;

• Full production of monthly management accounts pack
• P&L reviews, working closely with internal stakeholders
• Ownership of month end journal postings
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Interrogating existing spreadsheets ensuring accuracy across multiple platforms
• Suggest improvements on existing procedures
• Provide cost analysis related to ongoing projects
• Assist the transactions team to ensure month end close is as efficient as possible

Candidate profile;

• Substantial hands on management accounts experience
• ACCA/CIMA Qualified ideally, QBE certainly considered
• Ability to operate in a Manufacturing environment
