Management Accountant

Robert Half have partnered with a recognised market leading Financial Services business based in Bristol to recruit an interim management accountant.

This role has been created for maternity cover with a potential to become permanent.

Salary: Up to £55,000 per annum

Duration: 12 months

Start date: Immediate

Hybrid working: 3 days in the office and 2 remote.

You will take responsibility for:

• Conducting analysis and modelling of revenue streams and office profit and loss accounts.
• Preparing finance business partnering packs, including detailed expense analysis.
• Assisting in the preparation of the annual budget and forecasts.
• Leading efforts to improve existing financial processes.
• Collaborating on the preparation of board and management reports.
• Preparing statutory accounts in accordance with FRS 102 requirements.
• Assisting with interim and full-year external audit queries, including drafting technical accounting papers.
• Preparing regulatory submissions for the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).
• Entering journal entries into the general ledger, including those for revenue, accruals, prepayments, and other necessary entries to support the Group Financial Controller in the month-end process.
• Preparing monthly balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring all balances are accurate and valid.
