Location - Southport
Salary - £40-55k

About the company:

A well-established and growing investment business with a longstanding team and fantastic working environment, with a new opportunity for a qualified Accountant to join the team in a broad role that is crucial to the business.

Responsibilities include:

• Production of monthly management accounts
• Presenting figures to the board with commentary
• VAT returns
• Preparation of year-end
• Intercompany management
• Liaising with external accountants
• Reviewing bank reconciliations

Skills/Qualifications required:

• ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified (PQ/Finalist also considered with relevant experience)
• Accountancy practice experience a bonus, but not required
• Strong technical skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
• Ability to explain complex financial concepts in a clear and concise manner.
• Good attention to detail and organisational skills
