Management Accountant

Management Accountant | Full time and Permanent | Nottingham | Salary up to £40,000

Ashley Kate is proud to be working with our client who are searching for a Management Accountant to to join their close-knit Finance team. Reporting into the Financial Controller you will be responsible for To work within the business to prepare and present financial reports to senior management and group in order to give an insight into business performance.

Responsibilities:

·On going development and maintenance of the new accounting system, MS Dynamics and its link to Agility (purchase ordering system).

·Support and development of the Finance Assistant with Accounts payable and Accounts receivable.

·To assist with duties including:

-Month end process.

-Preparation of Management Accounts for Board reporting and submission of results.

-Forecasting monthly, carrying out monthly cost centre meetings with budget holders.

-Preparation of annual budget and 5 year plan.

-Cash flow forecasting.

-Assisting with statutory accounts and annual audit.

-KPI reporting.

-Development of reporting from finance system MS Dynamics

-Compliance with Construction Industry Scheme (CIS) regulations.

-Compliance with PAYE regulations including annual PSA reporting.

-Maintenance and development of financial controls.

-Ensuring financial compliance with local law and regulations.

-VAT reporting

-Ad-hoc financial analysis.

About you:

·A rounded technical financial competence.

·Attention to detail and accuracy.

·Strong Excel skills.

·Ability to work on their own initiative to tight deadlines.

·Excellent communication skills.

·Payroll experience (desirable but not essential)

·Qualified / nearly qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA or equivalent) or Qualified by Experience (QBE).
