Morgan McKinley is representing a Private Equity backed client on the lookout for a dynamic Management Accountant. This is your chance to make a significant impact on a forward-thinking organisation. This role will be hybrid, offering great annual leave and a salary of £40-50k.

Key Responsibilities:

Systems & Processes:

· Train the finance team on the Exchequer system to ensure efficient and effective processes.

· Support new finance software implementation

· Manage sustainability data reporting and monitor supplier emissions.

Reconciliations:

· Oversee and authorise all monthly and year-end reconciliations.

· Address systematic errors and ensure efficient reconciliation procedures.

· Conduct balance sheet reconciliations as needed.

Month/Year-End Accounts:

· Review and reconcile month-end management accounts.

· Ensure complete and accurate data in line with the month-end timetable.

· Prepare year-end schedules and assist in audit preparations.

Commercial Operations Support:

· Oversee sales and stock data collation and loading.

· Address financial control issues with commercial operations managers.

· Develop performance reporting and recommend profitability improvements.

· Resolve sales to banking reconciliation variances.

General Management:

· Record and maintain process maps for key finance tasks.

· Provide ad hoc analysis to support strategic goals.

· Assist with finance training for staff.

· Deputize for the Head of Finance as needed.
