Your new company
Established, successful and well known dealership in agriculture vehicles and machinery, located between Aylesbury and Oxford. £200M Turnover.
As the Management Accountant, you will produce monthly management accounts and sales commission reports. You will business partner with budget holders and stakeholders. You will also assist with the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts and statutory accounts. Working in a team of 5.
This role is 5 days in the office.

Your new role

  • Producing monthly management accounts
  • Preparation of month-end journals, accruals & prepayments.
  • Conduct full analysis of all P&L accounts.
  • Reconciling all balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis
  • Preparation of Monthly Reporting commentaries on key variances to budget in line with the month-end timetable
  • Business partnering
  • Sales commission accounting
  • Sales reporting and analysis
  • Assist with budgets and forecasts
  • Assist with year-end statutory account preparation
  • Assist with tax matters, corporation tax computation preparation, VAT,
  • Assist the year-end auditors providing answers to any queries in a timely manner.
  • Support other Finance functions (Accounts Payable, Sales Admin, Accounts Receivable)

Completing 'Office for National Statistics' questionnaires
What you'll need to succeed

  • (E) ACA/ACCA Qualified / Part Qualified
  • (E) Previous experience working as a management accountant.
  • (E) Advanced Excel Skills
  • (E) Strong understanding of accounting systems
  • (E) Ability to meet strict deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • (E) The ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships
  • (E) Ability to work individually and as part of a team
  • (E) Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • (E) Strong numerical skills
  • (E) Maintaining confidentiality at all times
  • (E) Working with a high degree of accuracy - limited mistakes or errors in day-to-day work
  • (E) Creating and maintaining strong working relationships
  • (E) Being proactive and suggesting improvements to processes where appropriate
  • (E) Going the extra mile to help colleagues and customers
  • (E) Demonstrating our Company Values at all times
  • (D) Commercial experience in a sales and leasing environment

What you'll get in return Flexible Working Environment
