Management Accountant
KCR Solutions are working with this growing organisation based Doxford Park who are looking to further centralise and streamline their shared services, additional support is now required in the finance team. The position of Management Accountant will be responsible for preparing management accounts for various companies across the Group on different finance systems. They will also play a part in standardising processes as we ultimately migrate all businesses onto one finance system.
THIS IS A 12 MONTH CONTRACT
Hybrid working available
Day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Support to Finance Manager
- Provide guidance and mentoring to the team
- Preparation of monthly management accounts and variance analysis
- Calculation of depreciation, prepayments, accruals and other provisions
- Calculation of Corporation Tax QIPs
- Payroll reconciliations
- Preparation of short term and long term cash flow forecasts
- Preparation of quarterly VAT returns including turnover reconciliations
- Assist with migration of brands to our finance system (Unit4)
- Preparation of month-end reports required for senior management meetings
- Ad-hoc reporting as required by management and other functions within the group
- Daily banking tasks
- Absence cover for other members of the finance team
- Ad-hoc tasks as required
Knowledge & Experience
Qualified accountant - ACA / ACCA / CIMA
A minimum of 5 years accounting experience in a similar role
Knowledge of working with an ERP system - not essential but preferred
Knowledge of Unit4 Business World (Agresso) - not essential but preferred
Knowledge of the payroll process - not essential but preferred
