Management Accountant

Based: Burnley

Salary: circa £45k-£55k dependent on experience) + study. 25 days + stats, good pension, opportunities to grow in a fast paced exciting business

I am working with an exciting, growing, acquisitive manufacturing business based in the East lancashire area. Company are growing organically and through acquisition and created a new role for a Management Accountant to join under an excellent FD with opportunity to progress to Finance Manager/Financial Controller over the next couple of years

Role:

  • Preparing monthly management accounts for business
  • Collaborating internally with seniorirectors, driving change and efficiencies
  • Balance sheet reconciliations, P&L and cash flow management
  • Overseeing finance duties including accruals, prepayments, VAT returns
  • Fixed asset register reconciliations, supporting auditors with year end
  • Supporting Finance Manager and FD with wider finance projects
  • Overseeing stock, budgeting and forecasting duties
  • Bank reconciliation, reviewing from Assistant Accountant ensuring accurate
  • Overseeing transactional/Purchase Ledger duties ensuring timely processes

Experience:

  • ACCA/CIMA/ACA finalist OR newly qualified
  • Management Accounts experience essential
  • Pro-active, keen to develop and learn
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever changing environment
  • Forward thinking with a desire to progress your career
  • Manufacturing experience desirable but not essential
