Reporting to the Head of Finance, this challenging Management Accountant job is responsible for various financial and system tasks in support of the whole wider team.  The emphasis is very much on ERP system management and to be considered you must be able to demonstrate good business system management experience - ERP or similar. 

Typical duties will include:

• Managing one direct report 
• Ensuring accurate management and product cost information
• Acting as the systems champion
• Ensuring accuracy in regular and ad hoc reporting.
• Assisting with monthly management accounts.
• Contributing to quarterly sales forecasts.
• Participating in the creation of annual budgets.
• Ledger support
• Deputising for the Head of Finance

To be successful in this role, you will be a part-qualified accountant, able to demonstrate a logical mind and an ability to understand ERP systems, how they operate and be able to troubleshoot. 

You will have an analytical mindset, be a strong Excel user and be able to meet strict deadlines. 

NB: Because of the rural location of this company, it is vital you have your own transport.
