Management Accountant

Brighton

Salary £40,000-50,000 (study support available)

Our client is an entrepreneurial, privately owned group of companies based in Brighton. They’re currently going through an exciting phase of expansion and reinvestment which has created the need for an additional permanent member of the finance team.

Reporting directly to the CFO as part of a small team, this individual will be tasked with looking after the accounts to TB for multiple companies (all on Xero), management accounts preparation to include accruals, prepayments, control accounts, forecasts, VAT returns, and payroll oversight alongside the Bookkeeper who runs payroll.

Several impressive years of growth mean this individual will be joining at a very exciting time and will quickly become an integral part of their team. They’ve recently acquired a competitor and have 2 further acquisitions on the horizon. Our client can offer stability in the role as is, or the opportunity to expand your responsibilities and progress in seniority over time in-line with the company’s growth.

Based close to Preston Park with good transport links, this privately owned SME offers a very friendly, sociable office environment of supportive staff and many company perks!

The ideal candidate will be an experienced Management Accountant with sound technical skills and knowledge of Xero. Xero experience can be negotiated though.
