Management Accountant
SF Recruitment are currently working with a multinational manufacturing business in the recruitment of a Management accountant to work in plant and product cost control.
We are seeking a part qualified or equivalent candidate to be responsible for a range of tasks.

Your expertise will support the production management to make decisions and to maintain high-quality reporting and analysis within the Controlling department.

Plant Performance Reporting:
- Prepare and analyse monthly reports
- Calculate efficiencies and conduct follow-ups
- Prepare and analyse forecasts and business planning
- Serve as the first point of contact for competent and reliable discussions on Plant Controlling issues
- Conduct regular review meetings with plant management

Business Partnering for Production:
- Production performance (e.g. efficiency)
- Monitoring headcount based on targets and production volume development
- Deep analysis on overhead spending
- Presentation of results to local Board of Management

Product Cost Calculations:
- Calculate costing rates per unit
- Material Cost Controlling: prepare material cost planning for the Business Plan in close cooperation with the Purchasing Department
- Analyse material ratio and economics

Additional Responsibilities:
- Maintain accounting views, standard costs and cost rates in ERP system
- Process Engineering Change Requests

Previous experience in Manufacturing is not essential, we are seeking a hands on individual with a good understanding of management accounts to drive the role forward.
