Management Accountant

We are seeking a qualified or nearly-qualified accountant with the vision and ambition to join our outsourcing team. Help us advance our services and technologies in cloud accounting and virtual finance.

This role is based in our Newbury office, with the possibility of agile working (a mix of office and home-based) after a qualifying period.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review management accounts and VAT returns.
• Prepare and present management reporting, including performance analysis against key performance indicators.
• Assist in the preparation of consolidated financial reporting packs.
• Work with clients to implement accounting systems and solutions.
• Coach and supervise junior colleagues.
• Respond to client queries on various issues.
• Collaborate with the team to develop innovative solutions and deliver excellent client service.

The Successful Candidate Will Have:

• Experience with cloud accounting software and associated applications (Xero, QBO, Dext).
• ACA / ACCA qualified or nearly-qualified status.
• Experience working within an accountancy practice.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for a client-facing role.
• Experience in producing management accounts and supporting working papers.
• Good organizational skills and the ability to manage time and meet tight deadlines.
