URGENTLY seeking a Management Accountant for a temporary role. The successful candidate will work closely with the Finance team and will be responsible for the preparation of monthly and annual management accounts, providing analysis and commentary. This role is pivotal in supplying the relevant stakeholders with the financial information needed to make informed decisions in a fast-paced environment.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Monitor and report on the commercial performance of the business.
  • Prepare monthly and annual accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Conduct month-end reconciliations, including bank accounts, sales and purchase ledgers, and other balance sheet accounts.
  • Prepare month-end journals and supporting documentation for accruals and prepayments.
  • Provide detailed analysis to budget holders regarding expenditure, aiding in strategic decision-making.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Qualified/QBE/Part-Qualified (ACA, CIMA, ACCA).
  • Excellent Excel and data analysis skills.
  • Experience with Xero - Essential as this role needs you to hit the ground running!
  • Proven experience in a similar Management Accountant role.
  • Very strong academic record and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
Work Location and Hours:
  • Office located in Exeter with 2 days WFH.
