• Salary: £35,000 to £45,000

We are seeking a Management Accountant to join a small finance team within a growing SME manufacturing business. This role is ideal for an individual who is AAT Qualified, Qualified by Experience, or Part-Qualified, and is looking to make a significant impact in a dynamic environment.

Day to Day of the role:

• Managing all aspects of the month-end process, including accruals, prepayments, balance sheet, and variance analysis.
• Performing balance sheet reconciliations and maintaining the fixed asset register.
• Analysing and reviewing performance to aid decision-making.
• Conducting control account reconciliations and weekly KPI reporting.
• Processing site stock takes and producing weekly production variance reports.
• Preparing VAT returns and engaging in continuous process improvement around systems and processes.
• Providing ad hoc financial reporting and analysis to enable better business decisions.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• AAT/Part-Qualified or Qualified by Experience in a management accounting role.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a small, busy team.
• Experience with Sage 200 is advantageous.
• Power BI experience would be desireable
• Advanced Excel and analytical skills.
