Management Accountant| Central Nottingham| to £50,000 + bonus | Hybrid working

Are you an experienced Management Accountant looking for your next challenge? This company is seeking a talented individual to join their team in either a temp to perm, interim or straight permanent position. With a salary of up to £50k, this is a fantastic opportunity to work within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

As the Management Accountant, you will work closely with the Finance Director and be the first point of contact for daily finance activities. You will be responsible for producing management accounts, financial performance reporting and commercial analysis, as well as Work in Progress (WIP) calculations.

Some of the Key Responsibilities…
*            Financial and management reporting
*            Continuous monitoring of key controls with a focus on reviewing monthly cash flow and balance sheet forecasting
*            Managing the monthly close process and preparing control accounts
*            Completing and submitting filing to the proper authorities in a timely and accurate manner
*            Producing the monthly management accounts with variance analysis
*            Producing cash flow and profit and loss forecasts
*            Managing and assisting with the annual budget process
*            Assisting with the implementation and improvement of systems, procedures, processes and controls including reviews/updates of Finance Quality Assurance Manual
*            Assisting with the production of Statutory Accounts for the Group companies and all audit liaison and queries
*            Managing the preparation/review of x3 monthly payrolls and payment
*            Managing the car fleet, including MID updates
*            P11D preparation and submission

Who the client is looking for….
*            CIMA Qualified or part Qualified
  • Have previous relevant work experience within an SME environment, with demonstrable longevity in a previous or current role.
  • A good understanding of the production of management accounts and VAT and Corporation Tax is essential.

This company is looking for a candidate who is highly motivated, with excellent communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure. You should be able to work well as part of a team and be able to manage your workload effectively.
