Location: Randox Laboratories, 55 Diamond Road, Crumlin, BT29 4QY.

Contract Offered: Full-time, Permanent

Working Hours / Shifts: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday from 08.40 to 17.20.

What does the Management Accountant role involve?

This role is responsible for the preparation of monthly accounts and the analysis of key financial information. This is an extremely varied role that will require you to develop a varied skillset, including:

  • Assist in the preparation of monthly accounts including consolidated accounts within the group.
  • Assist in the year end preparation of statutory financial accounts.
  • The analysis of key financial information.
  • Preparation of statutory returns including government and industry body surveys and Companies House updates.
  • Review of Purchase Orders and processing journals in the accounting system.
  • Preparation of monthly prepayments and accruals.
  • Preparation of monthly VAT returns.

Full on the job training will be provided on our processes.

Who can apply?

Essential criteria:

  • Experience of working within a finance function with responsibility for managing and processing accounts information. Minimum of 3 years’ experience.
  • GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths and English.
  • Computer literacy including modelling with Excel.

Desirable:

  • Accounting qualifications from a recognised industry body.
  • Experience in a manufacturing industry.
  • Experience of finance for a multi-entity group of companies.
  • Experience in the day-to-day use of Sage and / or SAP.
