This education concern is seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Management Accountant to join their small team, supporting them with producing monthly management accounts and budget holder reports.

Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will be a CIMA/ACCA studier or newly qualified, coupled with a minimum of three years' experience in a finance role. You will produce the monthly management accounts and support budget holders on spend and completion of balance sheet reconciliations within strict deadlines.

You will oversee the administration for accounts receivable and VAT, ensuring the quarterly return deadlines are met.

You will have a good working knowledge of Excel and be familiar using accounting systems.

The successful candidate will be educated to GCSE level and currently studying towards a finance qualification with a good understanding of management accounting, coupled with strong written and verbal skills.

Experience within education is preferable couple with a good understanding of guidelines relating to the Education Funding Agency.

You will be joining a friendly, experienced finance team and be part of an organisation which sets employee well-being at the top of its agenda.
