Management Accountant

Robert Half Finance and Accounting are currently looking to recruit a Management Accountant to join a well-established Professional Services Company located in South Gloucestershire. For the right person, the client is offering a very competitive:

Up to £45,000 plus excellent benefits

Key duties include but are not limited to:

• Production of end-to-end management accounts for two entities within the group
• Balance sheet reconciliations, providing analysis and commentary
• Preparation of accruals, prepayments and depreciation to post journals for submission of the month-end reporting pack
• Oversee inventory/stock for allocated entities, providing monthly valuations and reporting
• Monthly profit and loss review
• Support in the budgeting and forecasting process
• Assist with year-end audit as required
• Other ad hoc tasks as required

Person specification:

• Part-qualified or working towards ACCA/CIMA
• Excellent MS Excel skills including: VLOOKUPS, XLOOKUPS, Pivot Tables
• Excellent attention to detail and organisation, able to consistently work to deadlines
• Strong initiative, able to work autonomously and problem solve, yet prepared to ask for guidance and support as required
• Positive attitude and desire to achieve results
