Management Accountant

This is a fantastic opportunity for a newly qualified finance professional to join a leading green energy business based in Surrey. You will be joining the business at an exciting time as they continue to grow, new opportunities are being created.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, and providing finance support to the operational sites, you will be responsible for delivering a broad range of accounting activities. This will include management & statutory accounts preparation, internal controls management, budgeting, forecasting, and business partnering with investors.

• Month end reporting activities - monthly management accounts preparation, with full variance analysis and commentary
• Monthly balance sheet recs, accruals, prepayment schedule, fixed assets review, managing loans and interest
• Statutory accounting - preparing annual accounts pack for your partner operations, dealing with auditor queries
• Managing the annual budget process with stakeholders

We are ideally looking for a qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA or overseas equivalent considered) who has previous experience of preparing management or financial accounts; and a blend of both technical and commercial skills would be ideal.
