Job Description: Management Accountant (Part-Qualified/Finalist)

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000

Overview:I am seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Management Accountant who is either part-qualified or at finalist level in their accounting qualifications. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in management accounting, coupled with a solid understanding of tax regulations and compliance. Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation of monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and reporting.
• Support the budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring accurate and timely data is provided.
• Monitor and report on financial performance against budgets, providing insights and recommendations.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and internal reports for senior management.
• Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
• Prepare and file VAT returns, ensuring compliance with local tax regulations.
• Assist in the preparation of corporate tax returns and liaise with external tax advisors as needed.
• Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making, including cost analysis, margin analysis, and profitability assessments.
• Assist in cash flow forecasting and working capital management.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Part-qualified or finalist level in ACCA, CIMA, ACA, or equivalent accounting qualification.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a management accounting role.
• Experience with tax compliance, including VAT and corporate tax.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
