Our client, a leading B2B Events company, is currently recruiting for a Management Accountant to join their growing team. The Management Accountant will be responsible for maintaining financial policies and management information systems, alongside establishing effective communication channels to inform management on all aspects of company finance.

The Management Accountant will be responsible for 2 direct reports and a wider team of 5 members.

Key Responsibilities for the Management Accountant

• Analyse financial information to assist business profitability and growth.
• Provide accurate and sound management reporting to assist with key decision making.
• Produce month end and year end journals.
• Prepare statutory and management accounts.
• Contribute to annual budgeting and planning process.
• Manage the recording of capital expenditure.
• Produce financial statements including P&L accounts, cash flows, variance analysis and commentaries.

Key Experience for the Management Accountant

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified
• Working knowledge and experience of accruals and prepayments, financial and management accounting frameworks, management accounts process and delivery, budgets and forecasts and business partnering with non-finance stakeholders.
• Previous experience of working with Netsuite, Adaptive, Office Connect and Concur
• Advance Excel Skills
