We are a dynamic and growing multi-site retail and leisure business operating across the UK. With a strong reputation for delivering exceptional customer experiences, we are looking for an ambitious and detail-oriented Assistant Management Accountant to join our finance team.

The Role:
Reporting to the Management Accountant, you will play a key role in supporting the financial management of our multi-site operations.

This is a hands on position and offers excellent development opportunities for a finance professional looking to progress their career, with study support available for ACCA or CIMA qualifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting in the preparation of monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and reporting.

  • Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes.

  • Performing balance sheet reconciliations and journal postings.

  • Assisting with cash flow forecasting and monitoring.

  • Supporting the production of financial reports for senior management.

  • Working closely with site managers to ensure accurate financial reporting.

  • Assisting with year-end processes and external audits.

  • Continuously improving financial processes and controls.

About You:

  • AAT qualified or currently studying towards ACCA/CIMA.

  • Previous experience in a finance role, preferably within a multi-site business.

  • Strong Excel skills and proficiency in financial systems.

  • Excellent analytical skills with high attention to detail.

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders across the business.

  • Proactive and eager to learn, with a strong desire to develop in a finance career.
