Robertson Bell is excited to be partnering with a well-established social housing provider to recruit a Management Accountant in a permanent capacity. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a dynamic finance team, helping oversee month end procedures, streamline reporting processes, and support various operational functions.
Key Responsibilities:Manage the month end process, ncluding journal entries, accruals, adjustments, and flash reporting.
Support budgeting and forecasting processes, working with a variety of teams to ensure accurate financials (e.g., P&Ls, cost centres).
Assist in streamlining financial reporting through Power BI, while continuing to support legacy Excel and PowerPoint reporting.
Collaborate closely with operations teams to support high-volume, high-paced activities, with a focus on cost control and efficient resource allocation.
Engage with key stakeholders (regional directors, heads of departments) to provide insightful financial analysis and advice on budget management.

Qualifications: Fully qualified (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) with extensive experience in management accounting, ideally within a large organisation.
Experience: Strong background in managing complex budgets and financial reporting, with specific focus on capex/opex and balance sheet management. Familiarity with budget loading processes and financial systems is key.
Attributes: Strategic thinking with the ability to communicate complex financial data in an understandable way. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and adept at managing multiple priorities. Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
