Description
- Preparing monthly management accounts and financial statements.
- Analysing financial performance and contributing to medium and long-term business planning and forecasts.
- Offering professional judgement on financial matters and advising on ways of improving business performance.
- Interpreting and communicating financial data to non-financial managers.
- Implementing corporate governance procedures, risk management and internal controls.
- Liaising with auditors to ensure annual monitoring is carried out.
- Managing budgets and producing accurate financial reports to specific deadlines.
- Keeping abreast of changes in financial regulations and legislation in the Business Services industry.
Profile
A successful Management Accountant should have:
- Professional certification such as ACCA, CIMA or equivalent.
- Proficiency in accounting software.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly in Excel.
- Experience working in the Business Services industry is advantageous.
