Management Accountant

If you have at least three years' experience in an Accounting role where you've taken on a broad range of duties, this could be a great move for you. I'm working with a highly regarded consultancy firm who truly value their people and enjoy a productive and collaborative environment. The small friendly team works on a hybrid basis with three days a week in the office in Fitzrovia.
What you will do:
- Take responsibility for a range of financial statements, reports and commentary for 4-5 legal entities.
- Work closely with the Financial Controller to streamline and improve policies and processes.
- Act as line Manager to a Finance Assistant who is responsible for transactional work
- Liaise with key stakeholders and act as a point of contact for finance related queries
- Work with department heads on budgets and forecasts
- Assist HR with payroll processes and queries
- Prepare VAT returns and other tax-related documentation
What you will need:
- ACCA/CIMA/ACA Qualification, or to be QBE and have worked at this level
- A self-motivated and organised approach to your work demonstrating the ability to juggle multiple tasks whilst maintaining high standards
- Evidence of supervising/managing/mentoring another team member
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build good working relationships
