Job Title: Alternative Provision (AP) Manager

Location: Peterborough

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £37,000.00-£40,000.00 per year

Job Description

1. Take responsibility for the day-to-day development, management, financial performance and delivery of the provision at the site.

2. Manage the onsite staff, ensuring there is a committed enthusiastic team focussed on teaching and developing the behaviours of all pupils. Ensure that strong and effective relationships are built with all students and schools.

3. Actively participate in the delivery of the AP Service to students.

Specific Responsibilities Include:

· Manage day-to-day operations at the site, ensuring service standards are maintained and safe working practices are operated at all times.

· Maintain good working relationships with the venue leadership team.

· Ensure strong and effective relationships are built with all students and schools.

· Manage the financial performance of the site, to deliver profitability. You will help to prepare budgets, develop new income streams, maximise the fee earning time of staff and control expenditure.

· Deliver teaching to students.

Requirements:

  • Right To Work in the UK (No Sponsorship Provided) )
  • Teaching: 2 years in the UK
  • Management: 1 year (preferred)
  • Licence/Certification: • QTS (preferred)
  • Enhanced DBS (preferred)
  • Experience with students with Special Needs
