Job Summary:


Gemini People are seeking for a motivated and experienced MHS Engineer. The ideal candidate will have expertise in 230V and 415V and Hydraulics. Proficiency in electrical and mechanical fault finding is highly desirable. A heavy engineering background as much of the work will involve troubleshooting and repairing Dock Levellers, Scissor Lifts, Cardboard Balers and Industrial Compactors.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the timely and effective completion of all reasonable requests made by the Service Office or your Area Supervisor / Line Manager.
  • Undertake a comprehensive repair and maintenance service to mechanical / retail equipment at various locations throughout the UK fitting / stripping retail equipment components, straightening and welding to required standard and carry out general maintenance duties at various sites of work.
  • Carry out special assembly works on a variety of products and carry out reactive maintenance and planned preventative inspections and testing on various electro mechanical equipment.
  • Undertaking completion of end of job reports, time sheets and any other documentation required.
  • Be responsible for all your own health and safety and the safety of all others working with you and the public.
  • Be aware of the Company Policy relating to provision of working equipment.

Skills:

  • Must have good electrical and mechanical fault-finding ability coupled with maintenance skills with suitable qualifications.
  • Must have experience with 230V, 415V and Hydraulics.
  • Experience within troubleshooting and repairing Dock Levellers, Scissor Lifts, Cardboard Balers and Industrial Compactors.

Before you apply, please consider that a driving license is essential as you will need to travel around sites in Leeds. On occasions traveling to locations away from home may be required, which may result in overnight stays away from home. The company will pay for hotel and evening meal, with breakfast in line with policy.

You must be clean shaven in order to wear the required Respiratory Protective Equipment. This applies to all employees except for those with religious beliefs and Medical Conditions, alternative RPE is provided.
