Manufacturing Assistant

Our successful family run client, who specialise in mouldings for bespoke interiors and woodcraft, are looking to add to their dedicated team. They are currently recruiting for a Manufacturing Assistant based in Gloucester on a temporary to permanent basis.

You will work closely along other members of the team to create bespoke orders. Full training will be provided for this role however, you must have a strong eye for detail and a dedicated mindset. An interest in woodwork would also be beneficial.

Responsibilities:

-Preparation of patterns and originals

-Sketch pad design of mould tooling

-Making of mould tool using timber and mould making materials

-Design and making of timber jigs and patterns

-Inspection and sign off of production copies and solving any issues where required

-Quality control

Candidate Attributes:

-Strong eye for detail

-Strong work ethic

-Ability to work under your own initiative

-An interest in woodwork is beneficial

Hours: Monday - Friday, 8am - 4:30pm

Salary: £11.44 per hour + enrolment into the company’s bonus scheme once taken on permanently
