A client based in Papendrecht (Netherlands) is looking for over 10 Manufacturing Engineer with Assembly & Planning skills.
- This will be for an initial 12 month contract, the role is 100% onsite.
- Develop detailed production plans for new and non-conformance parts, considering lead times, material availability, and production capacity.
- Optimize production schedules to meet delivery deadlines while minimizing costs.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement teams for timely material procurement.
- Assess the impact of concessions on production schedules and adjust plans accordingly.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to evaluate alternative materials or processes for concessioned parts.
- Implement corrective actions to prevent recurring concessions.
- Strong analytical skills to optimize material flow and production schedules.
- Experience in landing gear is added advantage.
- Need to work on detail and Assembly parts Support Having experience in aircraft landing gear manufacturing, particularly dealing with production challenges related to forged and machined parts, heat treatments, and surface treatments (such as corrosion resistance, hard chrome plating, and shot peening), provides a significant advantage.
Skills
- Minimum 6 years of manufacturing planning experience will be considered.
- Read and understand the Aerospace components, Engineering drawings and concession disposition reports.
- Understand all GD&T symbols and should be able to apply for manufacturing process and their applications.
