Manufacturing Engineer - Larne, Belfast - Up to £26/hr - Inside IR35

12 month initial contract (expected to be long-term) - 4 Day week Mon - Thu

Do you have a strong manufacturing background and are looking for a new role in Larne, Northern Ireland? Jonathan Lee Recruitment is helping a a world leader in construction and mining equipment recruit a Manufacturing Engineer, and the role comes with a contract rate of £26.00 per hour.

As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work with others across our organization and you will be directly involved, and at the heart of our business, participating on strategic projects. You will be line ownership with responsibilities for key KPI including Safety, Quality, Velocity and Cost.

In your first few weeks in this Manufacturing Engineer role, you can expect to:

• Lead the introduction of new products and processes NPI
• Conduct problem-solving and hold Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) investigations
• Manage safety, quality and process improvements on an assembly line
• Identify, define and implement process quality, process design steps in line with Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) requirements

To apply for this Manufacturing Engineer role, your soft skills, expertise and experience should include:

• Experience and knowledge of Six sigma, Lean Manufacturing practices and APQP
• Experience with Assembly line balancing
• Experience leading RCCA investigations and implementing solutions
• Knowledge of SAP or another MRP/ERP system.
