Manufacturing Engineer - Desford - Up to £29/hr - Inside IR35

Do you have paint manufacturing experience, and are you seeking a new job in Desford? Jonathan Lee Recruitment is helping a world leader in construction and mining equipment recruit a Manufacturing Engineer and the role comes with n contract rate of £29.00 per hour.

In your first few weeks in this Manufacturing Engineer role, you can expect to:

• Apply technical knowledge of industrial pretreatment, electrocoat and wet and powder coating processes for problem solving and process improvement
• Evaluate new product suitability for the paint process from drawings and CAD models and liaise with engineers for design changes as necessary
• Validate NPI process through prototype builds
• Create and maintain standard work documentation
• Train Operations personnel in new processes

To apply for this Manufacturing Engineer role, your soft skills, expertise and experience should include:

• Detailed knowledge of industrial paint processes for metal substrates, manufacturing concepts and Lean principles
• Analytical ability as well as excellent communication skills
• A degree in a Manufacturing Engineering discipline or related
