Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be working alongside an FMCG company to recruit a Manufacturing Leader to join their facility in West Yorkshire.

The Manufacturing Leader role will cover a rotating shift pattern and you may be required to travel to other sites in the local area.

Monday – Friday 

  • AM 06:15 - 14:15 
  • PM14:15 - 22:15

Our client is looking for a Manufacturing Leader who can work independently but also collaboratively as part of a growing team, who has a willingness to learn and can multitask effectively.

Duties and responsibilities of the Manufacturing Leader include:

  • Operate and monitor the production machinery and ensure quality standards are met with minimal unplanned stops and downtime
  • Drive and maintain a high standard of 5s
  • Maintain, monitor and troubleshooting of production machinery to ensure they function correctly and efficiently including performing preventative maintenance
  • Communicate with other team members to ensure continuous production targets are met
  • Escalate issues where necessary to the Shift Manager

We would be keen to speak with Manufacturing Leaders with the following skills and experience:

  • Experience in a busy production environment – FMCG preferred
  • Knowledge of Production Procedures and machine operations with a Mechanical Engineering mindset
  • Organised and strong attention to detail 
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to respond quickly and efficiently to problems and issues that happen in a fast-paced production environment
