  • Machine Operation:
  • Operate various types of machinery used in the manufacturing process.
  • Ensure machines are running smoothly and efficiently.
  • Monitor and adjust machine settings to maintain quality and output.
  • Quality Control:
  • Regularly inspect products for quality standards.
  • Identify and report any defects or issues in the production process.
  • Perform necessary adjustments to ensure product quality meets specifications.
  • Maintenance:
  • Conduct routine maintenance and cleaning of machines.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and repairing machinery as needed.
  • Report any major mechanical issues to the maintenance team or supervisor.
  • Safety:
  • Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
  • Participate in safety training and drills.
  • Production Reporting:
  • Keep accurate records of production quantities, machine performance, and any incidents.
  • Submit daily reports to the shift supervisor or plant manager.
  • Material Handling:
  • Load raw materials into machines and monitor levels throughout the shift.
  • Handle finished products, ensuring they are properly stored or moved to the next stage of production.
  • Team Collaboration:
  • Work closely with other machine operators and team members to ensure continuous production flow.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding production status and any issues.
  • Process Improvement:
  • Identify opportunities for improving efficiency and reducing waste.
  • Provide feedback and suggestions to supervisors for process enhancements.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience: Previous experience as a machine operator in a manufacturing environment.
  • Technical Skills: Ability to operate and troubleshoot various types of machinery.
  • Attention to Detail: Keen eye for identifying quality issues and ensuring precision in machine operation.
  • Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks in a physically demanding environment.
  • Team Player: Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Temp to perm role for correct candidate. Overtime available

Hours of work: Monday to Thursday (4 days), 7.30am-7.30pm- 12 hour shifts. 46 hours paid per week after breaks. Overtime Available
