Position for a Manufacturing Manager seeking an Autonomous Process-driven role where you have variety and the ability to make key critical decisions?

This is an outstanding opportunity for someone looking for project management and supporting external manufacturing solutions to increase performance, volume and quality to meet goals.

The company is advancing infrastructure for global communication in a sustainable way, working within the High Tech and High-reliability sectors. They are a specialist in the design and supply of telecommunication systems either providing turnkey solutions or complete product-build architecture.

The role involves working with external manufacturing partners supporting planning, delivery reporting, supply chain and general quality activities. You will also be part of improvement processes to continue to produce high-quality products efficiently, on time and using the most cost-effective technique. You will problem-solve using methodologies such as Lean and Six Sigma whilst minimising stock usage and holding people accountable. Your contribution will be fundamental to the continuing success of this role. It will come with a level of autonomy and be a driving force to bring manufacturing in-house over time.

The Role:

* Planning and directing an efficient layout of equipment and flow of materials

* Improve build & test processes to streamline the manufacturing of products

* Collaborate with engineering to resolve any issues

* Supporting departments to ensure production targets are achieved
