Quality Assurance Technician - Manufacturing

12 month initial contract

£17.70 an hour

7.50am-4.45pm Mon-Thurs, Friday 7.50am - 12.10pm

My client are a manufacturer of high quality filtration products. They are seeking an experienced Quality Technician to join the Quality team, supporting production.

About the Role:

  • Performing defined quality activities: You will initiate and execute quality procedures, contributing to the development and improvement of processes and systems at the program level.
  • Production support: You will actively participate in Tier 2 meetings, address supplier quality issues, and investigate customer complaints.
  • Quality control: You will be responsible for quarantining stock, ensuring product quality through various testing procedures for filters (carbon-based), face masks (both positive and negative pressure), and assembled products.
  • Improvement projects: You will be involved in identifying and implementing quality improvement initiatives.

Who We Are Looking For:

  • Proven experience in a quality control or production environment
  • Experience of SAP
  • Data analysis experience using Excel
  • Excellent attention to detail and a meticulous approach to work
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing issues
