This is a new and exclusive opportunity for an investment research data analyst with expertise in market data vendors to join this thing banking investment fund business. This role is due to a team promotion, and thus offers a new career opportunity

Role details

• Title: Research investment data analyst
• Location: London City (London Bridge), 2 / 3 days in the office and home working hybrid
• Permanent role salary £70,000- £100,000 plus bonus
• Requirements : strong educational achievements (across Data, Maths, Statistics etc), experience with data analysis, experience with market data vendors
• Shortlisting now for August & September start

I placed a Market Vendors Data Analyst in this role in 2022, who is now being promoted so it's a great opportunity for you to now join the team

The focus is on assessing the data accuracy which is coming through from the market data vendors

You will be the lead on all morning production data issues and this data is critical for all downstream users including data modelers, quants and investment analysts.

You will also be involved on data projects, onboarding data sets, enhancing data models, build automatic data policy checks, data models, data workflows so there is a wide variety of interest in this role

Role requirements

• Experience working with market vendor data- (i.e. IHS Markit, ICAP, Moody's, S&P Global, Bloomberg, Refinitiv etc)
• Investment Research data
• Data Technical - SQL & Python (Write SQL logic, SQL Functions) & (Python- data bricks- understand python code, debug, enhancements, work with developers and make suggestions)
• We are looking for a Bright, fast learner, teach others and engage others
