Marketing Analyst

My client is a national brand, with a loyal customer base and a great proposition. They have a new requirement for an experienced Marketing Analyst to join their team, in a role which has a real business spotlight focussed upon it.

This role is fast paced and, as such, requires an experienced analyst who is used to managing multiple projects at any one time and providing meaningful insight to the business as a whole. You’ll work with a range of teams to deliver information they need in order to make business decisions, so it’s key that you can ascertain requirements and also challenge stakeholders in a constructive way, to ensure that reports are fit for purpose and that data is being used in the best way possible.

Your findings will genuinely help to shape the direction of the business, so if you’re looking for an analytical role which is much more than just crunching the numbers, this is the role for you.

To be successful in this role you should have:-

  • Developing complex mathematical models that integrate business rules and requirements.
  • In-depth advanced understanding of Excel
  • Experience using statistical computing package e.g. R preferable.
  • Familiar with machine learning principles and techniques.
  • Scripting language e.g. Python preferential.
  • Knowledge of visualisation tools e.g. Power BI or Tableau
