Our client is a stalwart of the UK Removals and Storage Industry. A multi-branch, long term BAR member with a great reputation for quality. They have a rich history spanning over 165 years in the business of moving people and businesses, serving a diverse clientele of commercial clients across the UK.

They are now looking for an Assistant to join their busy marketing team based in Surrey.

You will report directly to the Marketing Manager to help provide general support and administration within the Marketing Department.

This is a full-time, permanent position. Working hours are Monday - Friday, 9am - 5:30pm with the option to work from home. A minimum of 2 days in the office is required.

Marketing experience is essential, and experience within the removals industry or a related field is highly beneficial.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • To work with the Marketing team to set up and develop relevant content for social media schedules on an ongoing basis.
  • To ensure online reputation management through the monitoring of all social media channels and relevant review sites.
  • To liaise with the Marketing Manager in the setting up of relevant reports for all enquiries and digital activity and the monitoring and evaluation of these reports.
  • To work with the Marketing team in developing new Marketing initiatives for the company’s brand and the implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of these initiatives.
  • To work with the Marketing team and relevant external agencies to direct positive traffic to the website and monitor the conversion of this traffic.
  • To manage any print requirements and to ensure all relevant company literature is kept up to date.
  • To ensure Marketing projects are implemented in a timely fashion as directed by the Marketing Manager.
  • To ensure reporting of customer feedback and ISO monitoring is updated and reported on each month for presentation to the Marketing Manager.
  • To monitor all Marketing telephones and e-mails to ensure any enquiries are channelled to the right department.
  • To ensure customer survey submissions are uploaded to the CRM system.
  • To upload all canvassing from Twenty Ci to both Geminis Printing and the CRM system.
  • To ensure compliance of oneself with the Health & Safety at Work Act etc. 1974.
  • To ensure compliance of oneself with defined quality system policy and procedures in accordance with ISO9002.
  • Any other duties as may be requested by the Marketing Manager.
