Marketing & Communications Executive
Based in Leatherhead
Full time permanent role
Salary: Up to £29,500 per annum

Job Summary:

The Marketing & Communications Executive will support in executing and assessing marketing strategies and campaigns.

This role involves creating engaging content for diverse audiences, including news stories, press releases, blogs, e-newsletters, website pages, and social media posts.

The executive will work across teams to develop digital and printed materials, manage content calendars, and monitor social media trends.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage social media posts, ensuring timely responses and reporting.
  • Write and maintain digital content such as blog posts and campaign webpages.
  • Coordinate cross-channel messaging and content calendars.
  • Create content for appeals and campaigns, ensuring family stories are central to communications.
  • Support media appeals and develop relationships with media contacts.
  • Maintain compliance with data protection regulations and internal policies.

Requirements:

  • Experience in integrated marketing campaigns and project management.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM, CSM, social media scheduling tools, Canva, and Adobe suite.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience in the charity sector is desirable.

Special Conditions:

  • Occasional evening/weekend work and UK travel may be required.
  • Adherence to safeguarding policies and commitment to professional development are essential.
