The One Group are honoured to be working with the fastest growing medical research charity in the UK who are looking for a confident and driven events marketer on a temporary basis to support the events team with marketing strategy for their research conferences.

With this being a temporary position they are seeking a strong marketer who is immediately available and able to attend their Cambridge office atleast once a week.

Marketing Events Officer:

Joining a team of 6, the Marketing Events Officer will be responsible for planning and executing marketing strategies for their conference and events. This role will involve leading the marketing workstream, ensuring effective promotion and engagement to maximise attendance.

The Role:

• Support in developing and implementing marketing strategies for the annual conference and other events, including email, print, and social media campaigns.
• Coordinate with the Events Manager and marketing workstream members to align marketing strategies with overall event goals and objectives.
• Lead the conference marketing workstream, coordinating efforts with other departments and producing regular updates.
• Work with other Events Officers on the conference registration process, including the testing and management of registration forms.

About You:

• Atleast 2 years experience in Events Marketing
• Understanding of marketing principles (digital marketing strategies, social media platforms)
• Excellent project management skills
• Strong written and verbal skills
