Marketing Executive

A leading academic publisher of high quality, peer reviewed journals is looking to appoint a Marketing Executive within a new team in Journals Marketing. The role is open to candidates who are UK based and can be worked on a fully remote basis. This is a super opportunity to be involved in marketing new products across a range of portfolios.

Reporting to the Marketing Manager and working closely with colleagues in other departments, you will use your deep knowledge of author needs and motivations towards publishing and will play a pivotal role within the marketing team.

Responsibilities include:

  • Developing an awareness of publishing market developments
  • Delivering engaging messaging across a range of digital channels to funnel customers through every stage of their journey
  • Reporting on your activities, maintaining budgets and trackers as required to ensure KPIs are met across multiple benchmarks, sharing learnings to support continuous improvement
  • Being accountable for managing own learning, taking responsibility to identify and develop skills gaps

The ideal candidates will have experience of conducting market and customer research, and the ability to pivot and adapt to market changes. A strong team player, you will also have fantastic communication and time management skills.
