Are you a creative, generalist marketing professional, seeking a new challenge? Our client has an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Manager to join their team, to lead the strategic planning, creation, delivery and measurement of multi-channel customer communications and campaign activities.

The role is looking after a team of 3, developing the brand awareness, alongside developing and implementing their content marketing strategy.

Our client offers mortgages and savings to the market; therefore, they do require someone who has financial services experience; preferably in the mortgage space. They can offer a hybrid approach to the working week, with at least one day per week at their head office in Essex.

Duties of the Marketing Manager will include:

  • Manage the strategic planning of all comms resource to ensure all business needs are met in a timely, efficient and compliant way
  • Develop and own a robust comms planning & briefing process to ensure all work is strategically aligned, rooted in insight, well-resourced, and delivered in full
  • Develop & own campaign effectiveness metrics , to allow testing, tracking and optimisation against commercial KPIs
  • Develop and implement content marketing strategy using the full mix of channels including online, CRM and branch, helping members feel happier about money
  • Develop the brand identity & tone of voice for the business, in both B2B and B2Cmarkets, creating a modern and distinctive brand

The successful individual will possess:

  • A strong background in generalist marketing
  • Previous experience with brand and campaign activities
  • Previous experience in content marketing
  • Financial Services industry experience/knowledge
