Role Overview

Our client is looking for an experienced individual in LCMS & GCMS method development and troubleshooting analytical issues on a range of instruments. You will be responsible for providing support to our field service team and working with our in-house technical support team to configure systems for sale in the South UK. This role is an opportunity to blend scientific knowledge with customer support to help the key business streams of instrument sales and service support.

Key Duties

  • Troubleshoot issues on a range of LCMS and GCMS instruments.
  • Provide scientific support to the field service team.
  • Collaborate with the technical support team to configure systems for sale.
  • Conduct training sessions on LCMS and GCMS equipment.
  • Assist in technical documentation and pre-sales activities.

Person Specification

  • Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with mass spectrometry techniques
  • Skilled in operating and troubleshooting mass spectrometry instruments
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, or equivalent industry experience
  • Valid Full Clean Driving License
