Our client, a high-growth innovator in its chosen and competitive field, is looking to hire an experienced Master Data professional to help ready the business for its Sap4Hana implementation later this year.
This is a hugely pivotal role for the business, working closely with the CFO and COO as well as managing a team of 2, to take full responsibility for the Data, driving change and implementing new processes and ways of working. You'll be expected to be in the Watford office 2 days per week.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and define master data attributes, hierarchies, and relationships based on business needs.
* Help design and implement data governance processes and controls to ensure the quality, integrity, and security of master data.
* Perform data profiling, cleansing, and validation activities to identify and resolve data quality issues and inconsistencies.
* Action changes to master data in compliance with standards, validation rules, and governance processes.
* Provide training and support to data stewards and end-users on processes, including, and data access controls.
* Participate in data governance committees and working groups to review and approve changes to master data structures, definitions, and policies.
Key skills and experience required:
* Proven experience in master data management, data governance or related fields.
* Understanding of MDM concepts, methodologies, and best practices.
* Proven track record, leading and implementing change
* Experience of Business Partners and/or Variant Configuration within SAP systems including S/4HANA, ECC and Cloud Systems.
* Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve data quality issues.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal team working skills.
