Material Planner

Jonathan Lee Recruitment has two exciting opportunities for skilled and collaborative Material Planning Analysts to join our client's inclusive and friendly team. The Material Planning Analyst hybrid roles are based in Larne, Co Antrim, NI, offering an umbrella contract rate of £20.70-24.30/hr (inside IR35). Please note that these are full time roles (37.5 hour week) across 4 days, with working hours of 07:00 – 16:30 Monday to Thursday and 3 days per week will be based on site.

To give you an idea of how the Material Planning Analyst role would look and feel, here are some of the things you could expect to do:

• Develop and execute material planning for a product line to ensure that all material requirements are met within the allocated time frame
• Generate forecasts and manage replenishment planning for parts and materials to ensure specified service levels are met
• Analyse and synthesise information and devise alternative resolution strategies
• Develop successful resolutions to critical or wide-impact problems

• Material planning / purchasing background
• SAP knowledge and experience
• Experience working in Supply Chain within manufacturing organisations
• Decision making and critical thinking skills
• Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques
• Ability to accurately analyse situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment
• Problem solving skills and knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognising, anticipating, and resolving organisational, operational or process problems.
