Material Planner - Stockton-on-Tees (Hybrid) - Up to £23/hr - Inside IR35

Jonathan Lee Recruitment has an exciting opportunity for a skilled and collaborative Material Planner to join one of the world’s leading manufacturers of off-highway machinery and diesel and natural gas engines. This full-time Material Planning hybrid role is based in Stockton and offers an contract rate of £23.00 per hour.

As a Material Planner, you will ensure that material requirements are scheduled for delivery from suppliers in a quantity and on a date to support our service to customers.

If you were already in this Material Planner role, here are some areas you would have been working in this week:

• Ensuring that deliveries occur on the correct date, in the correct containers, and in the quantity specified
• Dealing with any delivery discrepancies to resolve
• Validating that supplier schedules meet the facility's demands and collaborating with suppliers to ensure continued material availability
• Initiating, coordinating, and participating in activities to ensure optimum inventory levels
• Being involved with, as necessary, the scheduling and control of onward ship material

• Previous Material Planning experience
• Supplier Management Experience
• Strong interpersonal skills with great communication
• Knowledge of MRP
• Microsoft Office, Glovia, SAP skills highly desirable
• Experience within a Manufacturing environment
