This position requires a Material Planning Manager who can effectively oversee the material planning processes within an FMCG environment. Description
- Oversee and manage the entire material planning process within the organisation
- Develop, implement, and maintain inventory control procedures
- Collaborate with production and purchasing teams to ensure material availability
- Analyse and forecast material requirements
- Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts
- Implement strategies to optimise inventory levels and reduce waste
- Prepare and present reports on material planning activities and achievements
- Lead and mentor the material planning team
Profile
A successful Material Planning Manager should have:
- A degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- Proven experience in material/ supply planning within an FMCG environment
- Strong knowledge of inventory management and forecasting methods
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Strong experience using SAP and Power BI.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
