Materials Controller

We are seeking a Material Release Technician to join our team at a leading manufacturer in the Northeast of England. 

• Ensure incoming material conforms to customer requirements.
• Review certification and documentation to ensure specification requirements are met, including chemical and mechanical test certifications, heat treatment, NDE, coating certifications, and documentation for bought components.
• Validate supplier documentation and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain internal systems and processes to ensure material traceability and control.
• Adapt to the varying demands of the business and undertake additional responsibilities as required.

• Relevant engineering qualification or equivalent experience.
• Experience in an Engineering / Manufacturing environment is advantageous.
• Proactive and highly organised with a keen understanding of data accuracy and deadline achievement.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
