We are seeking a Material Release Technician to join our team at a leading manufacturer in the Northeast of England.
Day to day of the role:- Ensure incoming material conforms to customer requirements.
- Review certification and documentation to ensure specification requirements are met, including chemical and mechanical test certifications, heat treatment, NDE, coating certifications, and documentation for bought components.
- Validate supplier documentation and resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain internal systems and processes to ensure material traceability and control.
- Adapt to the varying demands of the business and undertake additional responsibilities as required.
- Relevant engineering qualification or equivalent experience.
- Experience in an Engineering / Manufacturing environment is advantageous.
- Proactive and highly organised with a keen understanding of data accuracy and deadline achievement.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
