Are you an experienced NHS professional looking for a new challenge? Our client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to fill the role of Maternity Governance Lead in Kent, United Kingdom.
Introduction:
As the successful candidate, you will be working with our prestigious NHS client as their maternity governance lead. You will have full responsibility for ensuring that all aspects of clinical care provided are safe, effective and comply with relevant legislation.
Responsibilities:
* Develop comprehensive policies and procedures regarding maternal health
* Implement quality assurance programs within your department
* Ensure adherence to national guidelines by reviewing current practices against updated regulations
* Monitor data collected from audits or investigations related to maternal healthcare
Qualifications & Skills:
The ideal candidate should possess some or all of these qualifications/skills.
· Bachelor's degree in Health Care Administration/Nursing/Midwifery/Healthcare Management/Public Health/Epidemiology
· Experience managing projects focused on improving patient safety outcomes using evidence-based best practice standards.
· Knowledgeable about regulatory requirements governing hospital operations including CQC inspections; experience leading teams during such assessments would also be beneficial
Location & Schedule:
This job requires presence four days onsite while only one-day remote work allowed each week.
